An exciting new course on Victorian Paper Craft is being offered at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Burton Road, Lincoln, starting on Wednesday 21st September.
Have fun experimenting with creative Paper Craft techniques popular in the past. Learn about Victorian pastimes and discover how to use silhouettes, marbling, decoupage, paper cutting, collage and more to make creative and unique cards and decorative items inspired by designs from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and the natural world, which was so important in Victorian times.
The course will be taught by WEA tutor Kathy Holland. Beginners and experienced crafters are all very welcome. There are 5 sessions starting on Wednesday 21st September and running from 10.15am to 1.00pm.
There is a fee for the course but it is free if you are in receipt of certain benefits.
